Wanda Faye Henderson

Wanda Henderson, age 69, of Rison, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 16, 1952, to Albert Loggins, Jr., and Stella Salvestrini Loggins, as Wanda Faye Loggins in Bernalillo, New Mexico. She was raised and received her education in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and attended Pine Bluff School district. On October 23, 1971, she married the love of her life, Marion Franklin Henderson, Sr., where they had three children together of which she also adored.

Mrs. Henderson was a very dedicated hard worker while she was employed at the Pine Bluff Nursing Home as a CNA for years. Later, changing career paths, and going to work at Stant Manufacturing in Pine Bluff, where she held many different job titles and receiving numerous awards for outstanding hard work, commitment, and leadership. During her stint with Tyson, after leaving Stant, she was honored with being selected as an Honorary Member of the Heritage Registry of Who’s Who in 2006-2007. Upon her health becoming worse, Mrs. Henderson was forced to retire. This allowed her to spend much quality time with her grandchildren of which were the sparkle in her eye. Mrs. Henderson loved cooking, gardening, spending time with her family but more than anything, she loved dancing with her husband until her shoes fell off.  Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her loving parents, Albert Loggins and Stella Salvestrini Loggins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Marion Franklin Henderson, Sr.; daughters, Kimberly (Kim) Henderson Doss (Tony), Monica Henderson Turner (Thomas); son, Marion Franklin Henderson, Jr.,(partner, Marianda Miller); 8 grandchildren, Haley Bush, Christopher Holleman (Chrissy), Brooks Wilson (Levi), Brandon Doss, Madelynn Henderson (Jacob Harrison), Baylee Turner, Madison Turner and TJ Turner; 9 great-grandchildren, Kinley Bush, Jayden Marshall, Jase Ryan Marshall, Lakelynn Rogers, Ledger Wilson, Harper Wilson, Declan Wilson, Kayton Spakes, Aniston Dyer; siblings, Linda (Ronnie) Falls, William "Bill” (Barbara) Loggins, Karen (Ralph) Goad, Betty Stevens, Henry (Brenda) Loggins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Franky Henderson, Chris Holleman, Brandon Doss, Dustin Goad, James Falls, Mike Falls, Nick Kelley, Spencer Trail and. Honorary pallbearers will be TJ Turner, Thomas Turner, Joe Trail, Jacob Harrison, Jack Goad and Levi Wilson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Cody Andrews officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Center Campground Cemetery in Sheridan.
