Wanda Faye Brown

Wanda “Waney” Faye Brown, age 66, of White Hall went to be with her Lord on January 2, 2023. She was born May 29, 1956 in Pine Bluff to the late Edward John Brooks and Glenna Jean Schultz Brooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Edward Brown, her son, Ricky Lee Brown, her brothers, Kenneth and Johnny Brooks and one sister, Linda Sue Avant. She attended Pentecostal Church of God and enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her animals and family. She will always be remembered for her loving personality and she was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Billy Joe Brooks, Tina Gravett, Shaina Brown and Tarah Wells and her husband Jason, her siblings, James Brooks, Charles Brooks, Daniel Brooks, Jean Boddie and Frank Russell Brooks, her grandchildren, Alaynah Wells and Austin Dale Stafford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who loved her like a mother.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery.
