Shirley Ann Ferguson McCallister Hill of Little Rock, departed for Home and her Heavenly body on Sunday, February 16, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Shirley was a member of Lawson Road Church of Christ.
She was born in Humphrey, Arkansas on August 4, 1936 to the late Jessie and Alma Louise (Garrison) Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her youngest son, Terry Allen McCallister; one sister, Myrtle Borchert and five brothers, Fremont, Mac, Larry, Bill, and Leroy Ferguson.
Shirley is survived by her children, Pam (Jack) McKnight of Vimy Ridge, Ron (Marsha) McCallister of Little Rock, Mike McCallister of Benton; four stepsons, Mike (Judy) Hill and Kelly (Carla) Hill of Alexander, James (Renee’) Hill of Sheridan, Mel Hill of the Philippines; husband of 50 years, Lester M. Hill, Sr.; twenty grandchildren and step-grandchildren and a number of great-children. She is also survived by one brother, Jessie “Jay” Ferguson of Little Rock and three sisters, Louise Bunch, Lucy Williams, and Sue Taylor, all of Batesville, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff on the 200 Hall at Cottage Lane Nursing Facility as well as the staff of Hospice for their loving care of Shirley.

A memorial service will be held at Lawson Road Church of Christ, where Shirley was a member, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan (870) 942-3231.
