Sheila D. Weeks

Sheila D. Weeks, age 65, of Alexander, passed away May 25, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.  She was born October 12, 1954  to the late Burl Davis Sr. and Icelle James Davis.  Sheila retired from the Arkansas Insurance Department.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.  She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Eli Weeks, Sr.

Sheila is survived by her son, James Eli Weeks, Jr., and daughter Mary Ann Weeks Davis (James), grandchildren, Courtney Weeks, Mathieu Weeks, James Davis and Patience Davis, great grandchildren, Bella, Elayna, and Isayah, brothers, Burl Davis, Jr., Larry Allen Davis (Mary), and Gary Dewayne Davis (Mary), one sister, Sharon Lybrand and numerous nieces, nephews, and family.

Due to COVID-19, please be aware, as per state orders, there will be a limit of 50 guests, all guests over age 10 must wear a face covering.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.  A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Center Campground Cemetery in the Prague community.
