Sharron Anne (Verdue) Roberts
Obituary
Sharron Anne Verdue Roberts, age 74, of Rison went to be with her Lord on July 30, 2023. She was born September 18, 1948 in Star City to the late Harold and Ada Verdue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Roberts, her granddaughter Abbigale Grubb and her daughter-in-law Shelly Roberts. Mrs. Roberts retired from Rison School District where she worked as a librarian and a secretary. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Ricky Roberts and his wife Kim, Donna Grubb and her husband Bruce, Debbie McBryde and her husband Charles, and Brian Roberts. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Grubb (Hannah), Chase Roberts, Brett Grubb (Sarah), Matthew Roberts (Lauren), Joshua McBryde (Leslie), Noah McBryde (Hannah), Anna Beth Roberts, Julie Roberts, Logan Grubb and Vanessa Grubb and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison.
