Ruby Jean Taylor

Ruby Jean Taylor, age 77, of Amarillo, Texas; passed away peacefully on May 17, 2022.  She was born March 14, 1945, in Bakersfield, California, to the late Thomas and Anna Cornelius Emfinger.  Ruby had many vocations through the years, but her favorite was as a caregiver for her family.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, reading, and had recently taken up putting together puzzles and printing special cards for friends, neighbors, and family members.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Dean Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Deana Porter, of Amarillo, two sons, Jeff Taylor of Rison and Adam Taylor of England, AR, grandchildren, Curtis Taylor, Jeanina Taylor, Marsha Taylor, Jerrid Taylor, and Quinn Porter, and 13 great grandchildren Zach Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Bentley Taylor, Reanina Taylor, Bethany Taylor, Mercedes Taylor, Audi Abeyta, Baxley Abeyta, Analisa Taylor, Nova Abeyta, Alistar Taylor, Holden Taylor, and George Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Taylor, Curtis Taylor, Jerrid Taylor, Quinn Porter, Bentley Taylor, and Zach Taylor.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, AR.  Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022 at Wilson Cemetery in Rison, AR.   Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison (870) 325-6216.
