Peggy Robbins Willis

Peggy Jane Robbins Willis, age 72, of Rison, went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born August 13, 1951 in Rayville, Louisiana to the late Cassie Ray Robbins and Mary Nell Robbins. She was a faithful member of Rison Church of Christ. In her spare time she enjoyed drawing, painting, cooking and reading her Bible. She also enjoyed growing flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband James Willis, her daughter Penny Jacobs and her husband Stevie, her son Rodney Willis and his wife Michelle, siblings, Vickie Lewallen and her husband Larry, Dennis Robbins and his wife Donna, and Robin Heagler and her husband Reed, grandchildren, James Willis, Olivia Jacobs, Maura Ussery, Bryson Willis, Reagan Jacobs, and Margaret Ussery. She is also survived by her nieces Kassie Attwood, Marquilta Wiley, Kelsey Oliphant, Katie Heagler and her nephew Sam Robbins.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Lanis Lindsey and Keden Shrum officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Pine Bluff.
