Odis Edward Barnett

Odis Edward Barnett, age 76, of Woodlawn went to be with his Lord on June 3, 2022. He was born August 30, 1945 to the late Luther and Georgia Mae Barnett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Pearce and his brother, J.O. Lindsey. Mr. Barnett was a disabled United States Army Veteran serving two tours in Vietnam. Later he worked as a mechanic and retired from the Arkansas Department of Corrections. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and watching westerns.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy Barnett, his son, Vinson Barnett and his wife Brandy, two daughters, Amy Harper and her husband Chris, April Adams, two nephews, Dwayne Lindsey and his wife Patsy, Leroy “Bud” Lindsey and his wife Debbie, six grandchildren, Hunter and Lauren Barnett, Cody and Abigail Harper, Braxton and Macie Adams and two aunts, Katie Edwards and Juanita Hatcher.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

The family will be at the home of Vince and Brandy Barnett 1880 Highway 63, Rison, Arkansas 71665.
