Mary Jones

Mary E. Jones of Leola, Arkansas was born July 29, 1943 in Kingsland, Arkansas the daughter of the late Sydney and Vernie Reed. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and aunt. She doted on her family and was happiest when her large brood surrounded her.

Mary enjoyed fishing, roasting rocks and throwing weenies, mothering anyone that needed it, laughing, smiling, swimming in the creek, or anything that included her family.

Mrs. Mary passed away and went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the age of 78.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 siblings, brothers. Ronald Reed, Pete Reed: sisters, Marthy Ann West, Odessa Byrd, Irene Say: and the LOVE of her life, her husband William Wade Jones of 51 years.

Survivors: sons, Doug Jones of Lewisville, TX, Russell Jones of Springtown, TX, Stanley Jones of Leola, AR; daughters, Cynthia McClellan of Clatsakanie, OR, Vernia Card of Hensley, AR, Ann McMillian of Hensley, AR; brothers, Steve Reed of Grapevine, AR, Leo Reed of Leola, AR, Tony Reed of Judsonia, AR: sister, Wanda Justice of Cornville, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives, and friends, Dog, Lily.

Funeral will be at Buie Funeral Home on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2 PM with visitation from 1 PM until 2 PM service time.  Graveside service at Davis Cemetery in Grapevine will follow directly after service.
