Mary Bell

After battling a long illness, Mary W. Bell, age 77, passed away in Hot Springs, AR on Saturday, August 28th.

Mary was an elementary teacher to many over the years then worked with the family business, Cleveland County Telephone Company, in Rison, AR. The last 25 years, she owned and operated J C Turf Supplies in Hot Springs, AR where she enjoyed interacting with the many horsemen who visited her shop.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, David Bell, her parents Dewey and Ocie Eubanks, and her brother Dale Eubanks. She is survived by her son Russell Bell and wife Jamie of Marion, AR, daughter Summer Tucker and husband Tracy of Knoxville, TN, sister Naomi Kisner of Camarillo, CA, sister-in-law Ginny Jones of Longview, TX, grandchildren Matthew Tucker, Miller Tucker, Mary Peyton Bell and Piper Bell, numerous nieces and nephews and their families and special friends Kay Webb and Sarah Shreve.

The family would like to express their thanks for the many healthcare workers at CHI St. Vincent who have supported our mother and our family over the past year. 

Arrangements will be made by Buie Funeral Home of Rison, AR. A private service for family and close friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
