Marian Ethel Hackett

Marian Ethel Standridge Hackett, age 81, of Sheridan, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. She was born November 26, 1940 in Humnoke, Arkansas to the late Robert Lee Jones, Sr. and Hazel A. Moses Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Paul Gene Standridge her son, Michael G. Standridge and nine brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hackett was a faithful member of First Southern Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed singing, gardening, sewing and watching birds.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years Charles Albert Hackett, her children, Lonny C. Standridge and his wife Cindy, Allan L. Standridge and his wife Joann, Terry G. Standridge and his wife Elizabeth, Paula K. Harper and her husband Gary and one daughter-in-law Elma Standridge, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2022, at First Southern Baptist Church in Sheridan with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville.
