Linda Carrol Cooper

Linda Carrol Cooper, age 62, of the Herbine Community near Rison, died June 7, 2022 at home. She was born December 3, 1959 at Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas. She was the daughter of the late James Garland Cooper and Dorothy V. Cooper. Linda was a member of Tabernacle of Faith Church in Monticello, AR. A 1978 graduate of Rison High School. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, boating and collecting sea shells from the beach. Linda enjoyed life and her many friends.

Survivors include one niece, Crystal Lantrip and husband Derrel, six great-nieces and nephews, Joel Lantrip, Justin Lantrip, Jon Lantrip, Savanna McDonald, Jill Lantrip and Dillon Lantrip.

Special thank you for friends who attended Linda in her final days, Frances Lain, Polly Crutchfield, Tammy Bray, Rhonda Beck, Becky Wright and Theresa Duncan.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Reverend Terry Norris officiating. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery in Herbine.
