Kathlene Dawson

Lois Kathlene Parnell Dawson of Kingsland went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. She was born September 4, 1932 in in Kingsland to the late Frank and Audrey Turner. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Dawson, two sons, Mike Parnell, James Parnell, and one sister Louise Utter. Mrs. Dawson was a retired Postal Carrier who enjoyed shelling Pecans in her spare time. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Linda McDaniel and husband Larry of Fordyce; Diane Ferguson of Kingsland; Grady Parnell, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Kingsland; Joe Parnell and his wife Stephanie of Hopeville; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Crossroads Cemetery in Kingsland with Bro. Bob Black officiating.
