Juanita (McClellan) Morgan

Juanita McClellan Morgan, 90, of Rison, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018.  She was born in New Edinburg, Arkansas, to the late Jim and Lillian Hartley McClellan.  Mrs. Morgan was known for being a hard worker and her love of farming. She was a wonderful mother that had a heart of gold.  Mrs. Morgan was a member of Free Hill Free Will Baptist Church for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceding in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Robert Morgan; brothers, Elbert McClellan, Albert McClellan, Alvin McClellan and Elvin McClellan; sisters, Anna House, Geneva Rauls and Fannie Crutchfield.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Nancy Shelby (Jimmie); grandchildren, Stacey Meeks (Russ), Stefanie Wilson (Brad); great grandchildren, Morgan Wilson Jones (Jeffery), Shelby Wilson, LueAaron Wilson and Clay Meeks.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Brother Wade Peddy and Brother Alvin McMahon officiating.  Interment will follow at Prosperity Cemetery in Rison.  Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Pallbearers are Brad Wilson, Russ Meeks, Marc Maroney, Jeffery Jones, David Mills, Jamie Phillips and Larry Crutchfield.
