Joleta Erwin

Joleta Jacobs Erwin, age 74, of the Macedonia Community passed away on Monday, November 17, 2020. She was born July 28, 1946 in Rison to the late James Joseph Jacobs and Geneva Brown Jacobs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Dewayne Erwin. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, coloring, crossword puzzle and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Phillip Daris Erwin; children, James Daris Erwin (Marty) of Rison; Joseph Darren Erwin (Daina) of Rison; Phyllis Brown and her husband Terry of Woodlawn; grandchildren, Tony Rushing and his wife Whitney of Woodlawn; Jesse Rushing of Woodlawn; Daris, Devin and Luke Erwin all of Rison; Jamie Erwin of Rison; Alicia Rushing of White Hall; Aleisha Stout and her husband Dennis of Fouke; Chloe, Carlie and Cadee Crain; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Phillip, and William Rushing, Ashton Castillo and Hayden Lunsford all of Woodlawn. She is also survived by two sisters, Myra and Georgia Puckett and her husband Floyd and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tony Rushing, Jesse Rushing, Daris Erwin, Devin Erwin, Luke Erwin and Joe Herrington.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Macedonia Cemetery with Bro. Sluggo Norris officiating.
