Jan Austin Harlan, Jr.

Jan Austin Harlan, Jr, age 65, of Little Rock passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born August 18, 1956 in Sheridan, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School where he was in the National Honor Society and he later graduated from Henderson State University, he was also a member of Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Lynn Harlan.

He is survived by his father, Jan Austin Harlan, Sr., his mother, Eunice Jane Dreher, his son, Jonathan Harlan and his wife Vanessa, his daughter, Mandy Persons and her husband Tim, his brother, Jason Harlan, the mother of his children, Marsha Harlan, 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be his classmates of Sheridan High School. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you plant a tree in memory of Mr. Harlan.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Center Grove Cemetery in Sheridan. Arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan (870) 942-3231.
