Obituary
James Allen Hughey, age 67, of Sheridan went to be with his Lord on June 19, 2023. He was born September 15, 1955 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Maxine Kirby Hughey. Mr. Hughey was a United States Army veteran and retired from 3M after 30 years as a maintenance mechanic. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, watching sports, collecting coins, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Patricia Hughey, his son, Jeffrey Hughey and his wife Amber, his granddaughter Anna Hughey, one sister, two brothers and numerous family and friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.
Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Orion Cemetery near Redfield.
