James Curtis Hopper

James Curtis Hopper, age 57, of Rison passed away August 24, 2021.  He was born August 8, 1964 in Rison, AR to the late Curtis and Penny Word Hopper.  James loved to watch wrestling, and a good hockey game.  He also enjoyed feeding his crows, the neighborhood cats and dogs, and talking about chicken hawks.

James is survived by his sisters Glenda Rosado-Lopez, Debbie Valdez, and Tonya Hopper, nieces, Taylor Michelle Sidwell, Lillian Marie Quarels, Lindsey Langley and Christy Beals, nephews, Dillion Maxwolf, Matt Kimbrough and Christopher Langley, cousin, Teresa Word, and very special cousin Tammy Ann Daniels and her children, Jonathan Parker and Jessica West.

A graveside service will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison, AR.
