Helen Bullock Lunsford

Helen Bullock Lunsford, age 87 of Star City, passed away June 17, 2023. She was born February 10, 1936 in Waterproof, Louisiana to the late Walter and Bulah Maxwell Bullock. Helen enjoyed playing and writing gospel music and singing with her grandson Dustin. She had very creative spirit, she made jewelry, purses, and many other crafts. Helen was also a seamstress, she loved sewing clothes for her grandchildren. She loved being outdoors, she spent many wonderful nights camping on the Buffalo River with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ray Lunsford, grandson, Donald Wayne Lewis, Jr., siblings, Charles Bullock, Myrtle Bullock, Walter Bullock, Bertha Bullock Neal, Virgil Bullock, W. Onolia Bullock, Jessie James Bullock, Hilda Bullock Wyatt, and Thomas Bullock.

She is survived by her daughter, Nanette Lewis (Donald Wayne, Sr.),  grandchildren, Melinda Williams, Dana Leann Evans, and Dustin Ray Hughes, great-grandchildren, Hunter Lee May, Jessica Alise May, Hannah Brooke Evans, Logan Wesley Evans, Nevaeh Nichole Yarbrough, Caleb Ray Hughes, Gracie Nichole Hughes, Allyson Sarabeth Hughes, Lilly Faith Hughes, and Lillyann Ruth Reddick, one great-great-grandchild, Carson Wayne Beavo, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Rowell Cemetery in Rison, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
