Evelyn Marie (Hudman) Rushing

Evelyn Marie Rushing, age 77, of Rison went to be with her Lord on November 15, 2023. She was born November 3, 1946 in Arkadelphia to the late Thomas and Dorothy Hudman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Vernon Hudman, James Hudman, and Roy Earl Hudman. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing games. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family and great-grandson.

She is survived by her husband of 49 ½ years David Wayne Rushing, children, Angela Hooker and Kellie Kittler, siblings, Sherry Belasco, Brenda Rushing (Jimmy), Theresa House (Billy), Vanessa Horton (Daryl Fox), and Danny Hudman (Theresa), grandchildren, Krista Wooten and Jessie Wooten (Bailee) and one great-grandson Zayden Wooten. She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
