Dorothy Herring

Dorothy Herring, 83, of Rison, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.  She was born on January 7, 1935 in Monticello, Arkansas, to the late Dallas Bud and Eve Smith Boykin.  Mrs. Herring was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  She will always be remembered for being a loving mother and caring granny.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Herring and siblings, James, Harold, Ralph, Dewey, Winnie, Maxine and Bertha.  She's gone but not forgotten.

Survivors include her children, Denise King (Tom), Bobby Redmond (Kathy), Ray Redmond (Polly), Don Allen Rissinger (Dawne), Matt Redmond (Lola); twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; siblings, Gene Boykin, Pauline Upton and numerous other loving family and friends.
