Donald Earnest Young, age 64 of Rison, passed away on August 8, 2023 at his home. He was born December 6, 1958 in Waldo, AR. He is preceded in death by his mother, Suzie Pauline Thomason Young, father Cecil Young, and brother James Young. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing basketball in the yard, and he loved animals.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Rainey Young, their children, Jackie Young (Maria), Tyler McGarity (Nicole), Keri Young, Lindsy Young (Kendell), Susan Thornberry, Jennifer Wilson, and Melanie McGarity. His grandchildren, Jaxon Young, Jonathon Young, Chris Brandon Jr., Braxton Brandon, Kemyra Phillips, Kendall Phillips Jr., Kemanuel Phillips, Kevin, Phillips, Gracie Thornberry, Levi Thornberry, Isabella Bradford, Sydney Wilson, Devin Wilson, Logan McGarity, Aiden McGarity, Natalie McGarity, and Ryan McGarity, and his twin brother Ronald Young (Dana).
Memorial services will be officiated by his brother Ronald Young at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
