Danny Lunsford

Danny Lunsford age 82, of Rison went to be with his Lord on June 23, 2022. He was born October 22, 1939, in Rison to the late Roy Jewell Lunsford and Mary Melinda Lunsford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, J.D., Willie, Jimmy, Joe, Wayne, and J.W., his sisters Reba, Pam and Lorine and his son Michael Lunsford. He was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Pine Bluff and enjoyed working around the house, watching Gunsmoke, listening to country records, and coming up with projects for him and his son.

He is survived by his loving wife Mannette Lunsford, and his son, Phillip Lunsford and his wife Sharon, grandchildren, Sean Ashcraft (Crystal), Hunter Lunsford (Julie), Morgan McClure (Caleb), and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Tommy and Troy Lunsford and one sister, Betty McDaniel.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
