Christi Jo Wegner

Christi Jo Wegner, age 60, of Kingsland went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born April 21, 1962 in Fordyce, AR to Fred and Jo Wegner. Christi was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her loving husband, Greg Herron; her children, Heidi Rowland and John Ashcraft, Cody and Brooks Rowland, Nikki Barnum, Chris and Jordan Herron, Kyle Herron, Devin and Sydney Herron; ten grandchildren; her mother, Jo Wegner; sisters, Leisa and Stan Hobson, Wendy and Keith James; niece, Brittany and Trevor Castleberry; one great-nephew; and a host of family and friends that she welcomed into her heart.

Christi was a nurse for many years. She loved to travel and had been to forty-nine states. She lived life to the fullest and loved with all her heart.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any cancer or stroke research organization or local scholarship fund.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Stan Hobson officiating.
