Christal Henley

Christal “Chris” Ann Henley, age 63, of Sheridan went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 9, 2021. She was born June 2, 1957 in Dermott, Arkansas to the late Billy Ray Summitt and Loretta Mae Gann Summitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Billy Daniel Summitt. Mrs. Henley worked for over 25 years as a RN helping the elderly in her community. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and Mimi.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years Jim Henley, children, Tamra “Tammy” Henley (Clint Womack), Jimmy “Bubba” Henley and his wife Heather, Ryan Henley and his wife Jennie, two sisters, Susan Garner and Kim Crump, grandchildren, Addison Allred, Karson Henley, Aiden Henley, Olivia George, Ethan Henley, Josh Offutt, and Grant Henley.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Doug Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
