Charlie Wayne Lain

Charlie Wayne Lain, age 76, of Rison went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. He was born October 3, 1944 in Warren, AR to the late Charlie Duncan Lain and Margaret Lain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Joann Monk Lain, one sister, Maurene Heird, and three grandchildren, Baylee Lain, Garrett Lain and Tanner Lain. He served in the Army National Guard and retired from Mid-America Packing Co. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Frances Lain, children, Donald Wayne Lain and his wife Stephanie, Lisa Lain Tallent and her husband Carl, step-children, Theresa Duncan and her husband Tony, Aubrey Birmingham and his wife Ann, siblings, Donald Lain, Danny Lain, Mark Lain, Marsha Heird, Cheryl Edwards, grandchildren, Koty Tallent, Taylor Tallent, Caleb Tallent, Jacob Duncan, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Rison. Interment will follow in Branch Cemetery.
