Carolyn Nell (Harmon) Hyatt

Carolyn Nell Hyatt, age 79, of Rison went to be with her Lord on October 17, 2023. She was born November 7, 1943 n Caddo, Oklahoma to the late William Earnest Harmon and Florence Alma Morris Harmon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Ray Hyatt, Sr., her siblings, Juanita Dilday, Lazona Delta Blackburn, Jesse James Harmon and Homer Gene Harmon. She was a member of Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting in her spare time. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Barbie McAfee and her husband Scott, Bobby Ray Hyatt, Jr. and his wife Karen, one sister, Earnesteen Rebecca Harmon Nance, grandchildren, Scott Edward Hyatt McAfee II (Lauren Nalezny), William Harmon Hyatt McAfee, Ashlyn Reagan Hyatt, Brooklyn Auburn Hyatt and Caitlyn Eden Hyatt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Rison with Bro. Mike Goodwin and Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
