Byron Belt

Byron Macon Belt, age 53 of Sheridan, passed away August 1, 2023 at his home.  He was born March 16, 1970, in Little Rock, AR, to Emile and Charlotte Horne Belt.  Byron enjoyed being outdoors, he loved hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, camping, and gardening.  He loved spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Horne Belt, grandparents, Charlie and Sylvia Tuberville Horne, Emile and Josephine Hester Belt.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Yates Belt, sons, Paul Dale Linville (La-Tisha), Stevie Joe Kindrex (Haley) and Ritchie Allen Kindrex, grandchildren, Sarah Linville, Hydan Kindrex, Hope Kindrex, Bowen Kindrex, Gage Kindrex and Lorelai Kindrex, sisters, Glenda Elane Priddy (Randall) and Christine Lenora Criswell, and “Brother” Baxter Hendrix (Kelly), and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, with visitation from 10:00 a.m., until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Center Campground Cemetery in Prague, AR.
