Bill Rhodes

Billy Ray Rhodes, age 82, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was born January 9, 1941 in Watson Chapel to the late Ira and Marjorie Rhodes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon and Walter Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes retired from the Corps of Engineers, where he worked as an inspector. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also made turkey calls and travelled the Continental US selling them with his wife Martha.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Martha Kay Rhodes, his sons Noel R. Rhodes and Joel J. Rhodes, and grandchildren, Shannon R.  McCready, Elizabeth Claire Scott, Ciara Hitchcock and Ryan Chavis.  

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Center Campground Cemetery in Prague.
