Betty Hamilton Givens

Betty Hamilton Givens, age 89, of Rison went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 9, 2018.  She was born August 25, 1929 in Rison, Arkansas, to Scott and Frances Elizabeth Reed Hamilton.  Mrs. Givens was a graduate of Rison High School and was a life-long Methodist.  For the past fifty years, she was a resident of Hermosa Beach, California where she worked in the real estate industry.  Mrs. Givens' enjoyed being on the slopes, snow skiing, especially at Mammoth Mountain, California.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Russell H. Givens.

Survivors include her niece, Vesta (John) Lowe; great nephews, Marc (Beth) Culp, John Elliott and Bryan Lowe; great-great nieces, Shelby and Hannah Culp.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison with Brother Ike Mohr officiating.  Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home in Rison.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.buiefuneralhome.com.  (870)325-6216.
