Barbara Michelle Jones

Barbara Michelle Jones, age 61 of Sheridan, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Vincent Medical Center after having a stroke.  She was born December 7, 1961 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late James Edward and Barbara Maxine Kelley Moltz. Michelle was a 1980 Grapevine High School graduate, and she was a surgical processing technician for many years.

Michelle loved her kids and grandkids, she never missed an event or a chance to cheer them on.  If not working, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. 

Michelle loved her daughters, Ashton and Autumn, and never passed up a chance to brag on them to anyone who would listen.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life and what brought her the most joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Donnie Moltz.

Michelle is survived by her daughters, Ashton McNeese (Brandon) and Autumn Gilbert (Colton), grandchildren, Addalyn, Drake and Blaine McNeese, and Cannon Gilbert, niece, Bryanna Moltz, brothers, Jay Moltz and Ronnie Moltz (Brenda), many other family and friends, and by her beloved dog, Panda.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan.
