Alvin James “Bugger” Jones Jr. passed away December 1, 2022 at Baptist Hospital after a long battle of health conditions and kidney disease. He was born May 30, 1957 to Alvin Jones Sr. and Roberta Peerson, of Pine Bluff.

Bugger was a truck driver most of his career driving log and rock trucks. Most of his days driving for Canco Inc. out of Pine Bluff. After retiring he spent most of his time with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents Alvin Sr. and Roberta Jones, and one son Chase Jones.

He is survived by his wife Christi Jones, five children Josh, Jennifer, Steven, Bubba, and Justin Jones all of Magazine, and five siblings, David and Steven Jones, Sandra Harpper, Donna Bunt and Brenda Evens, all of Pine Bluff.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022 at Moores Church Cemetery in Rison.
