Alvin Mack Bell

Alvin Mack Bell, age 85, of Sherwood went to be with his Lord on August 4, 2021. He was born January 7, 1936 in Rison, Arkansas to the late Thomas Alvin Bell and Cora Ann Bell. Mr. Bell retired from Central Maloney where he worked as a welder. Mr. Bell was a member of Rison Baptist Church and was a Master Mason.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shelva Janette Garlington Bell, his daughter, Lori Anne Bell Grunwald and her husband Danny of Sherwood; his grandchildren, Justin Michael Reed and his wife Rachel of Sherwood; Molly Anne Sanders and her husband Noah of Sherwood; Sydney Leigh Reed of Sherwood; Jessica Paige Grunwald of Austin, Texas; his great granddaughter Blaire Mackenzie Sanders of Sherwood; one sister, Maxine Taylor of West Memphis; two sisters-in-law, Carole Sisson of Fordyce; and Alene Bell of Rison; three brothers-in-law, Randall Carroll of Benton; Doyle Garlington, Jr. and his wife Paula of Fordyce; Ikey Garlington of Little Rock.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Wade Totty officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, until time of service. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Rison.
