William Paul Jacobs

William Paul Jacobs, 55, of Rison went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 18, 1963 in Rison, Arkansas, to Alvin Lee and Mary Nell Keith Jacobs.  Mr. Jacobs was a life-long resident of Rison.  He was an active member of Cleveland County; having served on the Quorum Court and the Cleveland County Rural Water Association Board.  Mr. Jacobs was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors; hunting and fishing.  Most importantly though was his family, he loved spending time with them.  Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Lee Jacobs. 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-four years, Jamie Jacobs; children, Will Jacobs (Shyann), Haley Patrick (Evan); mother, Nell Jacobs; grandchildren, Hattie Patrick, Abigail Patrick; sister, Sharon Martin (Mike), nieces, Alee Martin, Hannah Martin and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the funeral home with interment in Macedonia Cemetery.  Memorials in his honor may be made to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.  Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
