Morris McNeely

Morris McNeely, age 93, of Rowell, went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born November 6, 1924 in Whelen Springs, Arkansas to the late John and Rittie McNeely. Mr. McNeely was a US Navy WWII veteran and later joined the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting and spoiling animals.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jerry McNeely, John McNeely, Jr., one son, David Wayne McNeely, and granddaughter Margaret Marie McNeely.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret McNeely, children, Carol Lynn (Bill), James Edward McNeely (Jennifer), Elizabeth Popphan (James), one brother, Samuel McNeely (Jewell), 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with a graveside service following at 2:00 p.m. in Rowell Cemetery.
