Mattie Nell (Jaggars) Wegner

Mattie Nell Wegner, age 81, of Rison, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.  She was born on June 1, 1938 in Rison, Arkansas to John T. and Ethel Beckham Jaggars.  Mrs. Wegner enjoyed bowling in her spare time and loved being with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chris H. Wegner.

Mattie is survived by her children, Pat Dye and husband, Tim, Thomas “Buddy” Wegner, Cindy Wegner, Debbie Wegner and husband, Mike Glewee; grandchildren, Tonya and Joshua Ralston, Mindy Dye, Roger Dale Dye Jr., Miranda and  Lance Dye-Cooksey, Chris Wegner, Chris and Stephanie Harriman and numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the funeral home.  Internment will follow at Moore’s Church Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
