Joe Dan Simmons

Joe Dan Simmons, age 58, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018, surrounded by his family.  Joe was born October 5, 1959 in Eugene, Oregon to Christine and Bennie Simmons.  He enjoyed reading and writing poetry.  He had several poems published.  Joe was a very giving and loving man, and would give his last dollar to someone in need and doing without himself.  He loved fishing, sports and traveling.  Joe never met a stranger and was truly loved by all.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother Christine Simmons, grandparents James and Joie Frost of Alton, Missouri, and Dale and Vera Simmons of Malvern, Arkansas.

He is survived by his father Bennie Simmons and brother Billy Simmons both of Prattsville, Arkansas.  Sister Beverly Frost and brother in law Doyle Frost of Birch Tree, Missouri. Nephews Cheyenne Simmons (Cindi) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Jamie Webb (Carly) of Leola, Arkansas, Brandon Webb of Prattsville, Arkansas, and Shawn Webb (Ashley) of Conway, Arkansas.  Nieces Mandy Kyle of Benton, Arkansas and Amber Buck of Malvern, Arkansas.  Five great nephews and five great nieces and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
