Joe Ashcraft

Joe Ray Ashcraft, of Rison passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. He was born August 11, 1943 in Mangum, Oklahoma to the late Elbert and Jimmie Marybell Ashcraft. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Steven Dwayne Sinks. Mr. Ashcraft was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and leatherworking. He will always be remembered as a  kind hearted man with a beautiful soul who was loved by many.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Ashcraft, children, Darla Louise Drye (Dwayne) of Rison, Michael Lee Ashcraft (Keri) of Bradford, Angelia Rache Belt of Rison, Elbert Ashcraft of White Hall, 9 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Bro. Danny Allen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
