Ina Arnold Obituary

Ina Jean Hudson Arnold, 87, of Jesup, Georgia died Sunday, October 7, 2018 after an extended illness. She was born December 27, 1930 in Rison, Arkansas to the late I.H. Hudson and Pearl Wilson Hudson.  The Arkansas native was a former member of First Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Jesup and had lived in Wayne County the past few years.  She was a co-owner of Arnold's Grocery in Pine Bluff and a homemaker.  Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Daniel Arnold; son, Dick Arnold; great grandchildren, Madison and Tanner Smith; two sisters, Mildred Hudson Goldberg, Agnes Hudson White; and one brother, Buddy Hudson.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Tony) Smith of Jesup, Georgia; two grandchildren, JaMark (Erica) Smith of Screven, Georgia and Dusty Smith of Cape Coral, Florida; three great grandchildren, Presley Smith, Avery Smith and Dani Soblotne.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison with Reverend Robert Cossey officiating.  Interment will follow in Wilson Cemetery at Rison.  A visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
