Edalene LaRue (Rogers) Langford

Edalene LaRue Langford, age 83 of Warren passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019.  She was born on October 16, 1935 in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Grover and Faye Ives Rogers.  She loved her family, had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed listen to music.  Mrs. Langford was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dorothy Thompson, Allene Brown, Grover Rogers Jr., Danny Joe Rogers, Rita Flener and Jimmy Rogers.

Left to cherish her memory is the father of her children, Harold Rex Langford of Warren; children, Gary (Sandra) Langford of Warren, Harold E. (Belinda) Langford of New Edinburg and Linda (Marty) Thornton of Warren; grandchildren, Chris Langford, Cameron Langford, Amy Watson, Meleah Smith, Josh Langford, Kaylon Langford, Jonathan Langford and Rexann Boothe; and ten great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at New Edinburg Cemetery.  Pallbearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Cameron Langford, Chris Langford, Josh Langford, Jonathan Langford, Isaiah Langford, Eli Langford, Avery Langford and Tray Watson.  The family express deep gratitude to Dr. Kerry Pennington and the staff of Chapel Woods Health and Rehabilitation for the care given to Mrs. Langford.  Arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
