Christine Simmons

Christine Frost Simmons, age 79, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on June 4, 2018.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grand kids.

She was born November 8, 1938 in Alton, Missouri to the late James and Joie Frost. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her mother Joie Smith Frost and two stepfathers John Frost and James Frost all of Alton, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bennie J. Simmons, sons Billy and Joe Simmons all of Prattsville, Arkansas,  daughter Beverley Frost and son-in-law Doyle of Birch Tree, Missouri, and (Like a Son) Charlie Lee of Malvern, Arkansas.  Six grandchildren, Cheyenne (Cindi) Simmons of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Jamie (Carly) Webb of Leola, Arkansas, Mandy Kyle of Benton, Arkansas, Brandon Webb of Prattsville, Arkansas, Amber Buck of Malvern, Arkansas, and Shawn (Ashley) Webb of Conway, Arkansas.  Nine great grandchildren Emilee and carter Webb. Logan, Falon and Laney Webb.  Conner and Chelsea Buck.  Nathan and Alexandria Web.  One Brother, Howard Frost of Alton, Missouri.  Four sisters, Gerlene Nelson and Aline Walker of Eugene, Oregon, Kay Childers (Ronnie) and Faye Holesapple of Alton, Missouri. One sister-in-law, Bobbie Taylor of Malvern, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cypress Cemetery in Willow, Arkansas.

The family will be at the home of Jamie and Carly Webb in Leola, Arkansas.
