Charles Roy Rundell

Charles Roy Rundell, Sr., 91, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away on May 24, 2018 at 6 PM surrounded by his family. Charles Roy Rundell, Sr. was born August 19, 1926 in Richwoods, Missouri the son of the late  Leroy A. Rundell and Viola Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years Hazel Brown Rundell, an infant daughter Judy Diane Rundell, two grandchildren, Amanda Rundell and Russell Huff, Jr. He was a devoted husband and an amazing loving and caring, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He left his imprint of love and generosity on everyone he touched. He was a lifelong member and generous supporter of Sheridan First Assembly of God Church. He loved to spend time with his family, was a true outdoorsman, one of his favorite things in life was a good home cooked meal he could share with his family. He was a World War II US Army veteran (8th Calvary) stationed in Japan.

He is survived by his children Linda Hunter, Charles Rundell, Jr. , BJ Rundell (Charlotte), Peggy Rundell, Darleen Carder (Jerry), 14 grandchildren 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 AM Monday, May 28, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan. Visitation will be from  10 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery.
 

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
