Candy Qualls Obituary

Candy Qualls of the Woodlawn community passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her home.  Mrs. Qualls had previously been employed for the Woodlawn Schools.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Calmer and an active member of her community.  Mrs. Qualls dearly loved her church family and grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Hurshell D. Qualls.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Cary (Brenda) Qualls of Monticello, Hal (Jeannie) Qualls of El Dorado; grandchildren, Kelly Gilbert, Katie Berryman, Joshua Qualls, Jacob Qualls, Judson Qualls; great grandchildren, Charlotte, Kylie, Luke, Mary Grace and a host of loving church family and friends.  

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Calmer.  Interment will follow in Enon Cemetery at Rye.  Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.  Memorials may be made to the Hurshell D. Qualls Scholarship Fund, c/o Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.  Funeral arrangements are by Buie Funeral Home in Rison.  Please sign the online guestbook at www.buiefuneralhome.com.
